Koman - 3 Day for the Cure Team Teacup has participated in the Philly 3-Day since 2008, raining nearly $75,000 for Breast Cancer research.    the Talking Teacup is a proud sponsor of Team Teacup.   Fundraising events are posted on our Special Events page and on Facebook. *********************************** 2009 - While Walking For the 2009 Philly 3-Day Participants…While a double nor’easter of soaking rain might have cancelled the first 2 days of the event, it couldn’t dampen our spirits as thousands of us found roads less traveled and reinforced reasons for why we walk.            While Walking In malls and on roads less traveled,      while walking for a cure,           in a downpour of pink support we re-realized                the lives we were all walking for.   While walking you walked with me      and together our feet found flight,           when while walking you talked with me                about an uplifting breast cancer fight.   For family and friends too soon departed,      together while walking we cried,           until day three when the cold rain departed,                together while walking we dried.   In hearts and on feet well traveled,      while walking for a cure,           around a circle of pink sunshine we re-realized                the future we were all walking for.                                        Eric Heck            2009 – Philly Bike / Mall Safety Crew            2008 – Philly Supporter   ***********************************  To read a recap of the 2010 Philly 3-Day 60 mile walk for the cure, please see: 2010 - Re-Cap ***********************************
