	Up Coming Tea Trips and Events! Book Club meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 9 - 11 AM.  New members are always welcome.    Upcoming meetings:   May 21st - Innocent Traitor by Alison Weir, June 18th - A Room With A View by E. We are currently planning our Special Events and Tea Trips for the upcoming year.   Please re-visit this page after the new year, or stop by the Tea Room for updates.   June: Summer Solstice Picnic - Fundraiser Candle Light Dessert Tea Date - Saturday, June 20th        Time - 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Join us for a fun eveningof snaking on assorted picnic foods, sample tasty iced teas and purchase delicious baked goods to take home to enjoy.   Take a chance on winning one of our wonderful selections of raffle baskets. Proceeds from this event go towards the Susan G. Komen For The Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.    Reservations required - $20.00 pp includes a ticket for our Raffle Basket.   Tea Trip - A Day In Delaware Date - Monday, June 25th        Time - 8:00 am - 7:30 pm - approximately Cost - $80.00  for the entire Tea Trip, includes tours, transportation, treats, taxes and tips.  $40 deposit due at time of booking your trip, balance of $40 due by June 1st, 2008. Itinerary: 7:45 am We'll meet at The Talking Teacup where we'll depart at 8:00 am sharp via our full service Motor Coach. 8:00 am Departure - We will have breakfast on the bus 10:30 am Winterthur House and Garden Tour-   We'll enjoy touring this beautiful American country estate nestled in the heart of Delaware's beautiful Brandywine Valley along with a special tour of the their spectacular 60-acre gardens, woodlands and waterway. 2:00 pm DuPont Hotel - We will be taking a special Afternoon Tea in this Historic Hotel.  Built in 1913 and designed to rival the finest hotels in Europe, this landmark hotel is one of the finest examples of European craftsmanship in North America. 4:00 pm ShipYard Shops- Located on the beautiful Christian River waterfront, we'll enjoy tax free shopping on the exciting Wilmington waterfront. 7:30 pm We return to The Talking Teacup, full of fun, food, friendship and finds from another fantastic Tea Trip!   July: Christmas in July - Fundraiser Candle Light Dessert Tea Date - Saturday, July 26th        Time - 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Join us in the tea room for a special Fundraiser in support of Team Teacup's 60 mile walk for a breast cancer cure.  Christmas will be here before you know it, so why not plan ahead with our participating vendors for some early bird shopping for a great cause.   Some of participating partners include: Tastefully Simple, Pampered Chef, Longaberger Baskets, BeautiControl Spa, Souther Living Home Decor and many more.  Proceeds from this event go towards the Susan G. Komen For The Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.    Reservations required - $20.00 pp includes a ticket for our Raffle Basket.   August: Teacup Academy  (3rd to 8th Grade) Date - Saturday, August 23rd       Time - 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Teacup Academy is designed as a fun evening for the girls to get ready for Back To School.   The girls will attend several "Class Periods" of fun: Health Class: Spa Treatment Home EC: Cup Cake Decorating  Art Class: Bookmark Making Lunch: Tasty Treats While the girls are in class, the mom's can enjoy a Spa Treatment and Back Massage, delicious teas and tasty treats.  Proceeds from this event go towards the Susan G. Komen For The Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.    Reservations required - $40.00 per Mom & Daughter (2nd little darling - $20) includes a ticket for our Raffle Basket.   September: Tea Trip - Tour The Hershey Empire Date - Monday, Sept 8th        Time - 8:00 am - 7:30 pm - approximately Cost - $80.00  for the entire Tea Trip, includes tours, transportation, treats, taxes and tips.  $40 deposit due at time of booking your trip, balance of $40 due by June 1st, 2008. Itinerary: 7:45 am We'll meet at The Talking Teacup where we'll depart at 8:00 am sharp via our full service Motor Coach. 8:00 am Departure - We will have breakfast on the bus 10:30 am Guided Tour of Hershey -  We'll visit "The Sweetest Place On Earth" as we learn all about the history of this unique town and about the life of it's founder, Milton Hershey, on our Chocolatetown Tour.   See the street lights shaped like Hershey Kisses. Visit Founder's Hall, a tribute to Milton Hershey and the school he founded, featuring the 2nd largest rotunda in the world!   Visit Chocolate World and enjoy the tour ride that takes us on a chocolate journey;  from the harvesting of cocoa beans to the production of Hershey's Chocolate.  We'll also enjoy some sweat shopping in the unique shops at Chocolate World. 2:00 pm The Hotel Hershey - We will be treated to a special delicious lunch at this world renowned 4-star hotel and restaurant. 4:00 pm Hershey Gardens - Enjoy a relaxing, self guided tour of the famous Hershey Gardens. Stroll among 23 acres of spectacular seasonal display, amazing theme gardens and the popular outdoor Butterfly House 8:00 pm We return to The Talking Teacup, full of fun, food, friendship and finds from another fantastic Tea Trip!   In The Pink - Pep Rally - Fundraiser Candle Light Dessert Tea Date - Saturday, Sept 20th        Time - 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Join us in the tea room for a special Fundraiser in support of Team Teacup's 60 mile walk for a breast cancer cure.   This will be our final push prior to our amazing journey as we hold a PeP Rally.   Surround yourseld in PINK!!  Eat, Drink, Think  PINK and of course wear PINK!  **Raffle Baskets**Mums for sale**Bake Sale**Special Merchandise**  All proceeds from this event go towards the Susan G.
